1) A1R JAMBOREE 2013: GIVING IS LIVING

  A1R JAMBOREE 2013 was held at the Faculty of Information Management. This jamboree collaborated with the Pusat Zakat Sedekah dan Wakaf Akademi Pengajian Islam Kontemporari (ACIS) to encourage students to donate to students who needs help in terms of financial support. Most of the UiTM students and staffs joined the ‘Skim Sadaqah Wajib’. So far,the fund collected monthly reached over RM 500,000.00. Besides that,there are also ‘Skim Sadaqah Tawattu’ (Sedekah Sunat) which is promoted through ‘Sumbangsih Sedekah Seminima Seringgit Sebulan (5 S) reached over RM 28,000.00 per month. If all of the 18,000 staffs and 180,000 students joined   this scheme by donate RM 1 each, will lead to RM 198,000 per month. The funds sure help one who really needs financial assist.

Students who are willing to donate RM1 each semester, they are given lucky draw number one each.
