Question 1: What are the objectives of having this event?
Answer: This A1R Jamboree 2013 is a part of our
coursework that need to be fulfilled by the final year students majoring in
Public Relation and we are from class MC2255C. The main objective is to help
ACIS who used to be known as CTU in collecting funds for UiTM staffs and
students who are in need of financial supports. Besides, this fund also goes to
disabled peoples. Second objective is to promote the rebranding of CTU. Now we
called it ACIS.
Question 2: Can you explained in details the slot that
you have on this event?
Answer: This A1R Jamboree 2013 is actually a pre event
before the main event will be launched on 27th November 2013 at
Masjid Square UiTM Shah Alam. This pre event took place every week where the
organizer will visits the branch campuses in order to promote the main event.
We called this pre event, Campus Tour. During our Campus Tour, we will be
collaborating with Hitz and Era.FM, the radio station where they will help us
in promoting the event. We will do the promotional activities such as having a
mascots or costume such as Barney and asking as many LIKE on Facebook from the
crowds, sticky notes section where crowds can gather and write as much
inspirational quotes for those who are in need.
For the upcoming main event, we will be having Art
Live Shows, Charity Sale, Superbike Tour, Performances and Shows, Lucky Draw,
Photo booth and Adopt A Cat.
Question 3: Can you shared with us, the challenges
faced by your committee to have this event?
Answer : The utmost challenge in organizing event is
in term of financial. We did not have enough budgets but still we managed to
come out with alternative to overcome this. Besides , in term of time
management. As a final year students, we had to cope up with hectic schedules
but the cooperation and teamwork between us solved everything smoothly.
Question 4: As a part of the committee members for
this event, personally do you think that this event had reached its objectives
successfully?
Answer: Personally, I think we have made it. This event is a success and we are looking forward to our next destination on Campus Tour where we will visit UiTM Puncak Alam. We are glad to obtain the objective. We managed to collect some funds for those who are in need and we had promoted ACIS as a rebranding of CTU.
