Climbing Activities at "Gunung Datuk"

           On 2nd November 2013, the Integration of Records Community Association (i-Rec) has organized a program called “Jati Diri Gunung Datuk” which is located at Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. This activity was lead by Information System (IM225) students’ with their 2 lecturers, Encik Zairul Masron and Encik Wan Abdul Malek Wan Abdullah. Generally, there are 41 students altogether from IM224 (Library Science),IM226 (Record) and IM227 (Resource Center) which included the student from IM225. All of the student assemble at the guard post of UiTM Puncak Perdana at 6.30 a.m and departed at 6.45 a.m. Moreover, there is also briefing session given by Encik Roy right after the group arrived at the located place, this briefing session were given in order to make sure that the group safety consult and to avoid any problem during the hiking activities of "Gunung Datuk". According to Encik Roy, the height of the mountain is 885 meter and the gradient is 70-80 degrees. The climbing activities start at 10.40 a.m and take about 3 hours to reach to the top of Gunung Datuk. The program ended at 7 p.m.
