“Karnival Merakyatkan Budaya Membaca”

On the 26 October 2013, 42 student elektif B together with the lecture, Encik Zaihan b.Husin make a program at Perpustakaan Awam Jempol, Negeri Sembilan. This program is under the subject IMA 653 Promotional activities in resources centre. This program is collaboration student Faculty Information Management UITM Puncak Perdana with Perpustakaan Awam Jempol, Negeri Sembilan.

This program aims to expose students to the ways how to manage the program in library  and want to student get closer with comunity.  This program theme ‘Karnival Merakyatkan budaya membaca’, their Target audiens is all kind of categories which include children, secondary and primary schools and also the parents or adults. Their make activities such as Music chair, King & Queen, Musang Berjanggut, Roda-roda Jempol, Puzzle

This program start at 8:00 am until 5:00pm and and the residents who stay near the library come to give a support. One of the student who join this program, Khairunnisa binti sulaiman (IM225) say’s this subject Should be continued because this subject give a experience to students on how to manage a program, and teach student to work together among them even them from different course, beside that  most importantly help improve the level of communication for students to deal with society.
